Because I don’t have enough to do in this life time, I have started experimenting with Second Life. This Virtual World was introduced at an EduComm Conference in July of 2007 as the future of Education. To find out if this is true, I created a “character” and went off on an adventure. Since this first in-world expereince, I have been fortunate enough to institute a Second Life (SL) program at Yavapai College where I teach basic SL skills. This has provided me with another form of teaching. What a wonderful experience this Second Life has been!
